DELIVERIES AND STORAGE - DETAILS & COSTS
S1 can look after receiving your deliveries before your shoot, store them for your shoot, and then keep them after your shoot for pick up.
DURING SHOOT:
If you have deliveries scheduled during the dates of your studio rental, just ask for deliveries to be made directly to the studio you are renting. (Please see the list of studio addresses for your shipper below) No fees apply.
Equipment / Props / Wardrobe / Sets / Etc. may be delivered to S1 before your studio rental. This must be organized in advance with your booking. Please ask the driver to go to reception, and we will look after putting the items directly in your studio if its available, or we will store the items till your shoot. A fee applies to each delivery of $25.00 minimum. (For example, furniture and set delivery could be up to $100, depending on the size and # of items.) Delivery/Pick Up times at reception: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
If you need to leave Equipment / Props / Wardrobe / Sets / Etc. for pick up the day after your studio rental, please let us know. This must be organized in advance with your booking. For pick up, please ask the driver to go to reception and ask for your pick up by shoot name and delivery name. A fee applies to each pick up of $25.00 minimum. (For example, furniture and set delivery could be up to $100, depending on the size and # of items.)
- Catering dishes should be picked up by your catering company before the end of your shoot.
- Any catering dishes left at S1 after studio rental can be collected by the catering company at S1 reception (Suite 202) and will result in a $20 charge, which you will be invoiced for.
- Unwashed catering dishes left in the studio will result in an additional $25 cleaning charge, as we cannot store them dirty and have to pay the cleaning staff to wash them.
- If catering dishes are removed from the studio by the end of your studio rental no charges apply!
Should you need to store any of your deliveries or pick ups for longer than one day, a storage charge may apply depending on the size and # of items.
A large loading dock is located in the lane just north of the studios (Thompson Street) on the North / East corner of the 9 Davies building (it will be quite obvious). You need to come inside the building to get the elevator. If you have any problems please come to reception.
